Honestly the pool boy did not work for Sumlin. Sumlin hired a service and this is the guy they sent out. Sumlin told the pool company to send someone else from now on. Sumlin was not in a position to "fire" anyone.
Now that the story has come out that Sumlin was talking to Chavis that day. It is very clear why Sumlin asked that pool boy be replaced with someone else. Sumlin was 100% justified in saying something to the pool company.
