Alabama went on a 45-6 run and was up 48-30 with less than 5 minutes left in the game.

what was the final score? because, you know, that's what actually counts. LSU shut out Ole Miss in the second half and won by 17

We also played them at Ole Miss in our true freshman QB's first true road game.

Hurts probably played in front of bigger crowds in high school to be fair.

I wouldn't call that "lucky" but that's just me.
I wouldn't call giving up half a hundred "good" defense, but that's just me

You could tell that the morale of the players was greatly impacted after the loss to Arkansas (giving the Rebels three before November). Ole Miss thought they were going to challenge for a conference title, now they might only win 6 games during the regular season.

if LSU can't use that excuse after losing to Alabama last year, they can't use that excuse this year

So yeah, trumpet your recent success as you've earned it, but don't act like you played anyone tough.

Just admit that you wish Les was still the coach.

Bama will be a heavy favorite to win the game, not sure why Bama fans are trying to convince folks other wise

Sports aren't played inside of a vacuum. There are ebbs and flows to each season for players, coaches, and the team as a whole.

We as fans often forget how much time and preparation is put into game-planning. Imagine busting your arse to study for a mid-term exam and then failing. For many, it's a blow for both your ego and any future motivation.

LSU has clearly suffered a hangover after Alabama in recent years, but this applies to every team.

Good for you. Want a cookie?

LSU beat Auburn by 14 in September 2013. Alabama crushed LSU in November 2013 before dropping the Iron Bowl. Things change as the season progresses. Ole Miss is not the same team physically or emotionally. When they played Alabama back in September they were healthier and had something to play for.

That is a lot of typing when "I am afraid of LSU." would have sufficed and conveyed the same message.

Neither is LSU. The scariest thing for Bama is to know that LSU is playing with house money. If they lose, they were supposed to lose/fired Les/blah blah. This will be the best team Bama has faced this year by a large margin especially on defense in the most hostile environment. I still think Bama wins but it's going to be a fun game.

True. LSU is a much better team than we were at the beginning of the season. You're blind and/or stupid if you can't see or admit this.
