Most of y’all were wrong about last season.

Most of us were wrong about this season.

I predicted 7 wins this year and if we reach that benchmark I’ll eat a raw onion. And I hate onions.

Yep I thought they could make Brennan at least serviceable, but he's still the jittery freshman from the Troy game. Complete failure to not have developed someone else by now

So tell your brethren to quit bitching after claiming all offseason that the roster turnover was no big deal.

When you only return 3 starters or whatever its a pretty big deal.

Doesn't excuse the loss though.

True but Brennan looked jittery as frick and the defense might as well been the cardboard cutouts in the stands.

I get they were gassed but watching Flott, Ward, and Ricks jog after State WRs drained my optimism.

Brennan will be OK. Go back and read my post from pre-season and I said LSU would struggle early in the timing aspect. He's a good QB but the expectations put on him by the fanbase was waaaay out of whack. It was his first time under fire with the game on the line.

It wasn't the opposing fans that were saying it wouldn't matter...

We got lost in percentages.

Aka “if Brennan is just 75% of the QB Burrow was we’ll wreck shop”

Dude ended up with good numbers but has zero of the pocket awareness Joe had.

He still has the talent around him. First game starter jitters and those go away. Week 2 and 3 will tell the story.

Okay?

What does any of that have to do with me? I never made any of the statements you keep referring to.

Agreed. But watching him again and again fall into pressure is not promising.

He'll get up to "game speed" and look like a different player. He came into games last year with the outcome already decided. This year it's on him to produce. Different game feel.

Definitely true.

But after watching Burrow be a magician at avoiding pressure last year this is like watching peanut football

Alabama is on that list 5 times. Lost as many as 10 to 13 starters. Won or played in the national title game 4 of those 5 times. Stop being a pussy.

So yeah we’ve been saying this for months now and y’all have been denying any drop off would happen. Then y’all get your arse kicked and this is the excuse? Reminds me of the people up in DC
