FWIW I don't follow any baseball, much less collegiate... but doesn't LSU claim to be like the bee's knees when it comes to this sport? SMH.

Baseball isnt football. You can lose almost 20 games and still be considered a good team. Bad games can happen a lot.

I'm all for trolling and messing with LSU but crappy losses to small programs happen in baseball. Midweek and on weekends. Now if you lose a series to them or run a streak of several midweek then it's time to have a discussion.

Exactly Farmer - while you are playing your newbies they are playing thier world series game 7! In the end your newbies learn more from it than thier best will ever gain from it.

Where are all the LSU fans who busted our chops when we lost to C of C? Especially the one that said all LSU fans would be furious if LSU even lost to Tulane.

Where is that I Ham that I Ham bait anyways ... we need to call those specific LSU fans out on this one.

Yeah, I wasn't in that shite talking, but it just isn't in the cards when you hit 4-19 with RISP

Most LSU fans, as is expected from the good LSU baseball fans, were very cool about all those ball-busting threads ... only a couple of guilty LSU parties involved.

That thread was just stupid. CofC has a very good baseball program. Not to mention they live to beat Carolina and clempson.

Judge LSU and USC on those two games at your peril.

My alma mater, played there from 93-96. It has happened before and will happen again. That's baseball, where the huge underdog wins more so than any other sport.

Everybody is gonna lose some games this season, that's just gonna happen, but this was a bad loss.

no midweek loss has ever been considered a bad loss.

With that said i watched the game and they played pretty horribly. 4 errors, 17 lob.

Yes it is ... that's well put btw.

It's what makes the game of baseball so great ... America's game when played in its pure form that is college baseball.

I wish the LSU fans would stop using the "it was cold" excuse for last night's loss. Nicholls played in that same cold weather. We just looked uninspired and flat out there. Too many errors. Mainieri was right. He was outcoached and did not have his team ready.

I think those comments are tongue in cheek.
