That mediocre AU coach is better than the mediocre coach your team just fired. When was the last time LSU won a natty ? AU has won both the SEC and natty more recently than your paper tigers.

AU has won SEC twice and a Natty since last time LSU won one. LSU has won SEC once in that same time frame and we all know how that turned out in the end.

While that is technically true, the perception is that Gus gets more credit for AU's 2010 title while Saban gets credit for LSU's. Also AU's champ loss in 2013 is received much better than LSU's in 2011.

True, but AU is pretty decent between the 20's. Ranked 6th in conference in total yards and passing yards. Ranked 3rd in rushing yards.
