Why aren’t LSU fans and Coach O blaming the kicker for missing a field goal. He makes that and LSU wins in regulation. Rather than whining about refs, why don’t they look at how their own team messed up? That includes allowing young receivers to own the overhyped Tiger DBs. ?????

He made a monster kick in the 1st OT though. I didn’t think it had a prayer when it left his foot. What a game.

I agree we missed some chances to close out the game. Can you be honest enough to admit that we did make several plays to close the game that were poorly called by the refs?

There's plenty of us assigning blame elsewhere than the refs. Half the fanbase is ready to run Orgeron out of town and nearly everyone is through with Ensminger

Can you name one definitive (in other words no doubt) play that was incorrectly officiated? There was a false start on Trayveon that was missed in overtime. That’s it. That did not lose you the game.

The catch and fumble by your TE which was called an incompletion.

The illegal formation on the last drive that wasn't called.

ETA: the PI call against Greedy was also highly questionable.

Really? It took you 23 years, 7 overtimes, a half dozen bad calls or lucky breaks and $75 million to finally beat us and this is what is on your mind? Don’t you have a jizz jar to fill or something?

That is obviously not definitive. It was a close play and could have been called either way. He was in the process of making the catch. Sorry, that’s not a clear cheat job.

Was actually legal. Let me link you the rules (it’s a wiki but it’s accurate):

Line of scrimmage

You see, you didn’t get robbed. It was a great game and A&M got some lucky breaks. Just accept it and move on. Should be an awesome game next year.

Well, considering he also made a 50 yarder why would they?

Alabama would kill for a kicker who could consistently make extra points.

They can't even imagine having a kicker who can make a 50 yarder

I'm waiting for LSU fans to list all the shite calls A&M has gotten screwed on in the past 6 games we've played.

Then I will maybe sympathize.

I'm not saying they cheated. I am saying they were very poor calls.

See some lucky breaks would be like one or two things. However, there were two, I think, obvious false starts the refs missed, along with the fumble, along with the PI that helped win y'all the game, along with the refs being in the way of LSU defenders.

Again I am not saying the refs cheated. I would just like for y'all to admit you won the game in large part due to the poor officiating.

It will be a great game next year. Can't wait to see what happens.

Meh - watched the replay without the emotion and the refs blew plenty of calls. Just as much holding, PI, and a few horrible spots in favor of LSU.

You know the truth. We won the game and the refs gave it to y’all. Plain and simple.

The biggest call IMO was when they didn’t initially call Mond down on the play where Delpit intercepted the ball. With no time outs and receivers +20 yards downfield, A&M would have probably lost more than the 10 seconds the officials ran off. There wouldn't have been enough time later in the game to spike the ball.

The call was officiated correctly, it just hurt LSU and benefited A&M in a couple ways. A tough break for LSU.

The breakdown is as follows:

Penalties

10-70 LSU

3-24 AtM

I wouldn't say LSU got away with nearly as much as you are saying. Can you give me examples of favorable calls LSU got that kept them in the game?

At least you seem more level-headed than most of your fan base today. I believe the calls were correct. Still, I can understand the emotion coming from a game like that. The umpire did block #23 (I think). Not intentionally; he was backpedaling. It was just that kind of night for y’all.

I’m just glad we finally got off the schneid against LSU. If the breaks had to fall our way to do it, so be it.
