I am a die hard LSU fan, and will be until the day I die, but this team would lose to 95 Nebraska by 21. They would lose 70% of the time to '01 Miami.

They may end up with the best resume ever as far as ranked teams defeated, but to think they would beat that Nebraska team is asinine.

Remember Lsu had to rely on 3 Bama missed FG's to win this year. See how that works?

So you are comparing Alabama 2011 to Tennessee 2009?

This team is ten times more physical on defense than '95 Florida was, and has a better power running game, so we would have fared a ton better than Florida did against them. They didn't have much of a passing game, and their one-dimensional option attack would have been fairly easy for this year's defense to stop with a month to prepare. There's a good chance we would beat them, and I'd be shocked if they beat us by 21.

Maybe so. That was a well-balanced offense with a sophisticated scheme and a lot of talent. Defensively, they were very athletic and good. That team MIGHT have had an advantage on our team this year, but might not have, too.

If we win out, then I agree we will have the best resume` ever.

95 Neb was tons better than 01 Miami. Still haven't, imo, seen a team better than that one.

1995 Nebraska is the best team in CFB History. Followed by Miami 2001. Not even close.

And LSU will have accomplished more than either of them and its not even close.

Alabama is playing for a tie.

LSU is playing for the best season in CFB history.

Learn it. Live it.

It will help you understand when the headaches come on January 10th.

Uh please. 1995 Nebraska would skull drag this current LSU team. Nobody in their sane mind would think that the best team in CFB history would be quarterbacked by Jordan Jefferson.

This is a factual discussion.

No team has beaten nine ranked opponents in a season, or 4 in the top five.

See you later.

Ciao.

Done. Goodbye.

Yah lol its not even the best this decade, and a discussion for top 3

All this is moot right now, LSU has to win 2 more games

I know you were either not born, or still shittin yella, but, 95 Nebraska, was incredible. Probably the GOAT. Better than Miami 01, easily.

With this attitude, I doubt you ever will. Their benefit is they never has to play against the teams to whom they are compared. You can make the "its not even close" arguments until they put you to sleep. They will always be unprovable opinions.

My opinion is this LSU team would humiliate those two teams. Prove that wrong with more than your opinion.

Are you dripping saliva on your autographed picture of Paul Finebaum???

I get it.

We know, Alabama.

Your nightmare is to be the stepping stone to LSU having the best season in college football history. But that's what you will be if LSU wins in the Dome.

Someone will try to convince us that their 1827 team would have killed us.
