I love how so many people say the preseason polls are nothing but ways for TV to get ratings while, at the same time, these same people use it to show how tough their schedule is.

Then why do Miles, the administration, and the countless fans on here bitch about it? Who exactly has the "bring it on" culture at LSU?

Oh look! An internet badass!

But Tennessee has whined about their schedule infinity times less than LSU, and they play 5 top 10 teams. They have the bring it on culture, even with a new head coach.

Les talks out of both sides of his mouth. He has the "want" for his team to be fearless and take on any opponent, i.e. the bring it on culture. Then he bitches about scheduling and cross-division rivalries? Makes no sense coming from a coach that has proven he can beat the best of the best AND take his team to an undefeated regular season in the toughest conference in the country.

“We’re looking forward to the challenge, to be honest,” Miles said. “Our culture is, ‘Bring it on.’ It’s what we do. We look forward to lining up against the best in the East and the best in the West.”

Seriously? How about this, then?

Miles came to Hoover, Ala., prepared, with scheduling statistics dating to 2000. His findings, with some help from LSU sports publicist Michael Bonnette, helped support his argument that the SEC has provided unintentional advantages by way of the league schedule.

"We play Georgia and Florida for the seventh time this year," Miles said. "I'd have to say there's some other schools that have not played Georgia and Florida in the same year in my entire time here or since 2000
