I have a hard time accepting that any team who is one injury away from being 8-4 at any position other than QB is the best team in the SEC.

If we're an injury away from being 8-4 at every pos. except QB, wouldn't that mean we are loaded at every position? You're contradicting yourself my friend.

This is like 1/9/12 in a way.
For LSU, if you cut the field in half that night in the Superdome they ran up and down the field on Bama, as they didn't cross the 50 yard line in the first half.
If you cut the season in half, LSU is your SEC Champion.
LSU...the half-season/50-yard line National Champs.

I see what the OP is doing but LSU may very well be the best team in the sec. I think more is made out of that game and many games against smaller schools than is necessary. Game plans effect these games based on what a coach is trying to accomplish rather than just a dominating performance.
