I don't think LSU will be terrible. I don't think Kevin Steele was some great hire, but their defense will be good, Buga is gonna run well, Brandon Harris is good, and they've got some solid WR talent.

You could use the same logic to argue 10-3... If we don't go all Chavis against Bama and don't suffer the worst call in the history of officiating against ND on the TD they took away (and/or go all Chavis against ND) we'd have won both of those.

Just want to make sure I understand... every single LSU fan on the rant has been saying the Tigers are a lock to go 14-1 or 15-0, or at least make the championship game "because of an insane amount of talent" that presumably no other team in the SEC can hope to match up with.
The consensus of LSU fans seems to be 10-2 as the worst possible regular season record, and 11-1 or 12-0 was more likely. This despite having no proven quarterback, a defense that got rolled by any physical team they faced last year, and an OL that is replacing their best players with youngsters, and a receiving corps that dropped as many balls as they caught, not that there were many catchable balls thrown.
Just wanted to confirm Ala Tiger's prediction of 12-0 regular season and a trip to the championship... just for historical record.

Not so fast there bud... I have seen only 3-4 GOOD SOLID posters say that... Most on the rant say 9-3 to 10-2... I feel the same way about Bama... I can see three losses this year.. The D has been trending down the last four years......... 44 to AU and then 42 to the Buckeyes was not good.......... Pus they lost a BEAST in Cooper... They are not the typical Bama team that looks a shoe-in to an 11-1 record............

A little dramatic Alice. No one has said LSU is going to be terrible or suck. People just don't believe LSU is going to win the West, sec and etc. Like most LSU fans have been shouting all off season. 4 year cycle, Harrisiah and Fournette both make 1st team sec, both are all Americans and both win the Heisman, first time that there is a tie. Steele is an upgrade, dbu, death Valley etc.
