But LSU has def given Bama their stiffest competition during that span and it's not even close.

Of this there is NO doubt. When the history books are written and this timeframe of CFB is looked back upon, Saban and Miles will be the modern day Woody and Bo. No doubt about that.

It's been pretty much LSU and 'Bama, and the record will reflect that.

Do you agree or disagree (and if so why) with this blog from Travis Haney that was posted on ESPN this morning?

What's Saban's record in Louisiana during the same length of time, curiously?

Bama and LSU have historically done better against each other on the road.

Nice comparison. And I think this series is only going to get better and more intense. But it def rustles my jimmies when Bama fans act like they just roll thru LSU just because of 21-0. It's a lot closer than that one game and it's def my fav game to go to replacing the LSU/UF game.

It will. Especially now.

I try to ignore it, just as I try to ignore LSU fans who refer to our 2012 team as "a 10-3 team who got lucky," and do everything they can to marginalize our accomplishments. Both are actually kind of pathetic.

Saban and Miles are both 2-1 at each schools stadiums.

ETA : each others*

Yea, that's unusual. It'll be tough to keep it that way this year.

In Les' defense.

He's very Tuberville/Nutt like in that he seems to do something when you least expect it and I'm not talking about fake field goals.

Agreed

The sad thing is that, ever since I was a little kid, I've considered LSU to be my second favorite team.

So, even when people say shite which, at best, is puzzling and at worst actually pisses me off, I try really hard not to be "that guy."

And when I do strike back, I mean it in good humor.

Dunno if I can make the trip (I usually work most during CFB season, unfortunately)

Hope you enjoy the trip.

I didn't get to go to T-town for Game of Century part 1, looking forward to it this year. I hear nothing but good things about Tuscaloosa and Bama's campus. Can't wait.

If the game is as close as the last four have been, you'll have the time of your life, win or lose.

Go jump off a cliff and put yourself out of our misery.

LSU will be in the hunt every year. We have as much talent as any school in the country. So much obsession with LSU on this board.

it's as if you people have the memory span of a gnat. every year it's the same thing. lsu is going to suck next year. yet lsu continues to be second only to bama over the last few seasons.

it's not who lsu loses or who lsu has coming back. it's who lsu has coming back compared to everyone else. lsu returns as much talent as anybody. expect another double digit win season.
