No baiting. Just good football talk bro. LSU and Bama should have best defenses this year.

Appreciate the insight, GFunk. Trey LMFAO at DE doesn't sound right though. 6ft 300lb has DT written all over it.

I wonder how much 3-4 LSU will play this year. If they do I could see Sione and Bower moving to a LB role with a guy like Lewis Neal as well.

No. All I want is less predictable defensive play-calling in the fourth quarter.

DB blitz from the left side. Saban making $$ off this in 2011, 2012, and 2014.

This is what I want to see (returning starters in bold, talented newcomers underlined):

DE Godchaux/Neal
DT Valentine/Bain
DT Lacouture/Thomas
DE Bower/Clark/Teuhema

OLB D. Jones/Feist
MLB Beckwith/Garrett
OLB Louis/Riley

CB White/Cutrer
SS Adams/Jefferson
FS Mills/Jefferson (yes, Rickey J backs up both spots)
CB Paris/Toliver (at least to start out)

NB Thomas

We are locked and loaded for a 2011 type season with our current qb mishaps.

If Harris puts it all together this offseason?

I expect Toliver to make a name for himself. I kind of expect the secondary to help the DL look good.

Agreed.
Been around for a long time and I don't recall this much star-power potential in the LSU secondary. White and Adams could both be All-Americans next year and Mills and Jefferson will also wind up in the NFL. Duane Thomas was on the verge of becoming the best Nickel back in the league when he was injured and he'll be back by the Spring. Tolliver and Jackson, the two 5* DB's coming to BR will add tremendous speed and play-making ability to an already strong group. Jackson looks like the second-coming of the Honey Badger on film.

He was a solid football player. He was not spectacular. You can be more than solid and still not be spectacular.

I think we agree.

we don't even have a real coordinator and our new d-line coach is just a bag man

chavis was our defense, every chance we had to stop people in '15 left with him

i don't know what we're going to do and i'm melting
