would you condone an asst coach and Alum agent funneling thousands of dollars to players per the Yahoo article last year? Damn good thing for bama the NCAA is defunk.
We should just drop all pretenses and have a big player auction each year.
LSU bids 250 grand cash a car 5k a month a condo all the cajun food you can eat, etc
Bama bids 200 grand an SUV 7k a month free bbq for life , etc
Auburn bids 150k plus 50k or more winning at victoryland on majic slot machine, lifetime supply of TP, a house two cars, etc
It would be more honest than shite now and probably cheaper

I love this hire. Now LSU fans can't say shite when we have coaches of 5 star recruits working our camps.

LSU has more (cough cough) coaching and recruiting positions coming open or being created as we speak.
Saban's is widely considered the grandfather of over-signing and then "processing" said players by overusing medical hardships and "running off" as many as needed to meet the 85 limit.Now he will be seen as the coach who started this trend of hiring parents, siblings, uncles, cousins, girlfriends, high school position coaches and anyone else who may have influence over these impressionable young men.
You know LSU fans never believed bama or any other school could consistently take the top talent out of La. without cheating. You are the first bama fan I have seen here admit it openly. I hope bama starts to do this "in the light of day " like LSU did with this hire and not hide in the shadows like it always has.

The only reason Bama has been successful in pulling some top talent out of LA is because of the ties Saban made while at LSU,if not for that it wouldn't even be an issue.These kids are going there to play for Saban not Bama.
