I agree Omaha is nice so is nearby Lincoln after that Nebraska is a desolate isolated place I stand corrected 93 % of the state is god awful

It doesn't get good along I-80, until you get to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Though, I'm not sure that's saying much.

I dated a girl that lived Columbus Nebraska about 75 north west of Omaha, she grew up on a cattle ranch in the Nebraska sandhills that was over 500 thousand acres
Point being Nebraska can not feel like home to Raymond and how can we fault anyone for going home wherever home is ?
