You know I can think of some folks in Minnesota who would disagree with you. Also you need an art lesson because they're complimentary colors.... also AP made himself a legend in purple and gold. Better than those boring arse red jerseys that never change.

Orange and blue are also complementary colors on the artist's color wheel 
Florida, Auburn, and LSU are the only 3 SEC schools with this distinction. Mizzou and Ole Miss come close though.
