lost in Tuscaloosa since 1999. Unfortunately, I believe that this streak will come to an end tomorrow. Alabama has one of the best teams they have had in the last ten years(2005 may be close) and by far the best coaching staff they have had in a long time. It seems that everything falls into place for Alabama this year and they get the win in Tuscaloosa. I just hope that the Bama fans can handle this win with class.

Disagree. That 2005 team played above their heads all year. I think this team is much better.

I'm only an arse to fans that were asses before the game. Living in Louisiana, if we win, it'll be strange Monday when I come in to work. Some of the LSU fans I work with will be given the pat on the back and, "Don't feel bad. You guys are just comin off a 5 game streak on us." or something like that. Some others will have me in their ear all f'in week.

Bama really is the best team in the SEC right now. If they can get a little more out of their QB, this team would not have a single chink in its armor. I think LSU has the talent to beat them, but they will have to play a nearly perfect game.

You have to remember that we were without our best player in Prothro when we played you guys. Oh and our center too.

This team is much better than that one, I agree...but that team was solid and very good with Prothro.

excuses 4 years later? nice

We had to give 20 carries to our shitty backup RB because Addai was hurt that game but no worries, only Bama has injuries and nobody can beat you at full speed.

I see LSU winning, and the Tide will be seen to have looked good against an schedule that looks better on paper than it really is.

as much as it pains me to read this... I have to agree... Bama is the most complete team i've seen this year IMO... even with their lackluster performance lately... Saban will have them ready, count on it!

Wow. Way to throw in the towel before the game is played. Is this a way to ease your pain if LSU loses? I say eff the Gumps - I'll talk trash if LSU wins, and let them talk trash if Bama wins. But I'll be darned if I'm going to give up before hand.

Guess you shouldn't bother watching then since you know the outcome.

LSU has beat one team with a winning record. All this talk about Bama hasn't been tested is a little silly. LSU has beat a really erratic Alburn Team and maybe the worst UGA team to take the field in 10 years.

That said I look for a battle in BDS.

LSU had talent, LSU has good coaching.

Bama has talent, Bama has good coaching.

It should be a great game but both teams better bring their "A" game or it could get ugly.

Ala/LSU rivalry ... 44-22-5 in Bama's favor.

For 30 years Tiger Stadium was Bama's practice field; LSU lost at home for 3 decades.

LSU has owned Bama at BDS for the past decade.

BUT ... past records are MEANINGLESS as it relates to Saturday's game.

Looking forward to a great game.

Alabama might be able to recover from a turnover or two. LSU would not be able to. You are right in your prediction. LSU better play really well.
