Agreed. Plus, it is just fun seeing traditional powers playing home and home series. It was awesome in 2002 seeing Alabama in Norman vs an Oklahoma team that was just a couple years removed from a National title. At the time, that was the most excited I had been for an Alabama game in years.

Agreed. I was there to greet the traveling Tide fans that day in Norman. Not that they didn't all arrive much earlier on Tuesday in their Winnebagos or anything.

Oh is that so? Miami and USF are world beaters? I get that you play FSU every year and that's a thing for sure. But it's pretty convenient
What was more convenient was beating UO in our home state for the natty.

The last time Florida left the state for an OOC regular season game was 1991. A 38-21 loss at Syracuse.
When would they have a chance to do so?
Name another school that has 2 rivals in their state who are not in their conference? Florida has had to deal with FSU and Miami, both are national championship programs since that time. No other school has this problem. Florida has played many road games against both since 1991.
But, they will play Michigan in the season opener in Dallas in 2017.

We didn't have to leave the state to shutdown that Native American kid that stole Tim's Heisman.
Oh and we play Michigan in Texas in 2017

I guess that's the downside of an OOC rivalry. You rarely get to see the face of anyone new.
Indeed. It sucks. Would love some cool road trips. Playing FSU only helps them financially and I despise that.

Boat is a LSU fan and a Gator hater. He's also wrong but that's neither here nor there.
