Lots of fail in the OP
Minter is 10x better than he was last season
Saying La'El Colling is equal to t-bob is a fricking joke. Collins will be an all American at the end of the season.

Amazingly, LSU is projected to have three players go in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft.
We only had two in 2012.
We only had two in 2012.

We are playing many freshman who are playing very well. We are reloading. We lost a lot of talent from last years team. Yet we're still in position to compete for the NC. We've currently got a recruiting class ranked somewhere in the top 5. How's that a bad thing?
I did not say it was a bad thing. Only that your 2011 team was much better than the 2012 team.
Many coaches say that for every Freshman you start, you will lose a game. That this team, as presently constituted, is ranked #5 is a testament to the quality of your depth. 2012 LSU is a very good team, but it is not the dominant team that you had last year (the one that beat Bama 9-6 in OT at BDS).
That is not a flame. This is why Alabama fans feel good about their chances.
Last year, LSU beat FL 41-11. This year, you lost 14-6. I know FL has improved but part of that difference is that LSU has dropped off quite considerably.

What do you plan to do with all of your free time after Saturday when you have no reason to start 5 threads about LSU every day?
I expect I will make a few enlightened posts about JFF and A&M.

It's called reloading, dude. Your team does it too. We could still beat pretty much anybody in the country even if I agreed with you.

Presently only 8 starters from the 2011 team start for the 2012 Tigers. Almost all the "new" starters are a step down in talent and/or experience, with the possible exception of LG Collins and RB Hill. QB Lee/Jefferson > Mett RB Hill > Ware/Ford FB Copeland = Copeland WR Randle > Beckham WR Beckham > Landry WR Shephard = WR Shephard TE Peterson > TE Clement LT Faulk > LT Dworaczyk LG Hebert = LG Collins C Lonergan = C Lonergan RG Blackwell > RG Turner RT Hurst > RT Alexander Defense FS Eric Reid = FS Eric Reid SS Taylor > SS Loston CB Claiborne > CB Simon CB Mathieu > CB Collins LB Baker > LB Barrow LB Minter = LB Minter LB Francois > LB Muncie DE Mingo = DE Mingo DT Logan = DT Logan DT Brockers > DT Johnson DE Montgom = DE Montgom You simply can't lose phenomenal players like Claiborne, Mathieu, Brockers, Faulk and Randle without a corresponding drop in production from those units. You lost the 6th (Mo) and 14th (Brockers) picks in the first round of the NFL draft. Randle was a second round pick. Faulk and Mathieu would have been drafted this year. The 2011 LSU team was far more talented than the 2012 team that is currently taking the field for the Tigers. LSU lost its playmakers on Offense and Defense. It should not be a shock that the team has not been nearly so dominant. LSU lost guys that caused a lot of turnovers and scored a lot of Tds. While nearly every poster said that Mett would be an upgrade at QB, he has not been nearly as efficient as Lee (who threw for more Tds and fewer Ints). If last year's talented group lost 21-0 in the BCSCG, how will this year's less talented group fare?
Saved for when LSU wins saturday.

Which apparently you and your fellow LSU fans can't keep from posting in or complaining about. So who is more retarded?

In 2011 LSU beat FL 41-11.
In 2012 FL beat LSU 14-6.
That is a 38 point swing.
I don't think anyone would suggest that FL has improved by 38 points.
LSU is a far weaker team than when they came to BDS.
Last year LSU beat Auburn 45-10. This year LSU won 12-10, against a much worse AU team.
Bama stole LSU's Swag.
Mett is the one who needs to bite the pillow. That #1 ranked Bama defense is coming in dry. He has 1 Td in SEC play, against A&M.
I bet Mett can't sleep at night if he looks at that hit that Hightower put on Lee in that first game last year.

What?! Bama didn't lose any players from last year's team?!

Bama lost some great players from last years's team. However, many of the replacements have performed better than the starters who were lost. A.J. McCannon is playing at a much higher level this year compared to last. This year's WRs are bigger, faster and more talented than the 2011 squad.
Jesse Williams, Bama's NT, is a beast in the middle. He has greatly enhanced the performance of our LBs, who are quite frankly a smaller and faster unit with better coverage skills.
Our schedule has turned out to be less challenging than originally anticipated, as Mich and Arkansas were vastly overrated.
Bama is continuing to dominate its opponents, with an average margin of victory of 32 points. LSU's last 3 SEC wins were by a total of 9 points.

You've given this a great deal of thought.
