Arkie refuses to play any team from Arkansas in any sport. Hell, they won't even play UALR and their in the same damn system.
One thing I've always liked about LSU, they shared the wealth with all the other state schools in baseball. They played home & homes and faced quality competition. Helped fill the stands and saw these other schools improve as a result.
Arkie just won't do it. Oh we'll, that's their deal.

Meh...it's not all that uncommon...we only have one single OOC game outside SC this season, versus Gardner Webb at their place in Shelby, NC. Last season we played no OOC games outside SC. There's far more than enough in-state SC non-SEC opponents to play against that are quality opponents (Clemson, College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina which we haven't even been playing but will start next season), in addition to Citadel, Charleston Southern, Furman, USC-Upstate, etc.
Why pack up the team and bus out of state and accrue that cost when it's not necessary?? Keep the $$ in-state, I say....and it's not like we are afraid to play outside SC: we own the longest win streak ever in Omaha Nebraska, after all...
