Just saw this crazy stat posted on SDS

LINK

The last time LSU lost with over 200 rushing (201) is a 21-27 OT loss against Bama in 2008. Jarrett Lee had 4 ints, with one being a pick 6, and one being in overtime to end the game.

Ole Miss hasn't lost a game with over 200 yards rushing under Freeze. But that's also because we haven't done it.

It's really not a crazy stat. Rushing for 200 yards generally means you dominated time of possession and likely the game. I imagine every team has a great record when rushing for 200 yards.

More importantly, under Les Miles, LSU is UNDEFEATED in games where they score more points than their opponent... Pretty crazy stat considering the amount of games Les has coached

I remember that. Was a great game. I think that's when this:

this:

and this:

happened.

I'm just messing with you LSU fans, though that last pic is the OT catch. Peterson had good coverage on a back shoulder throw, Julio made a good catch and nearly dragged PP7 into endzone. PP pulled him down at like the 1 yard line and Wilson ran in on next play. crazy game.

To be fair to PP, SEC rules mandated he get 3 feet in bounds for his interceptions while covering Julio to count.

Does it surprise you that CBs can't keep up with WRs? Its why CB is the hardest position to play in professional sports and why the best CBs in the league routinely get beaten by the best WRs.

Quick side note, in that game if you ever watched them on run plays it was pretty incredible. They would absolutely go at it even when the ball was being run to the opposite side of the field.

They were probably the 2 best players on the field that day. Both true freshman.
