You do realize LSU scored 198 in the semis and finals. Only school to do that tot the four remaining. Yeah Oklahoma had no chance. Bama? lol

I'm a very big gymnastics fan, but not so much college gymnastics. Gymnasts are the best pure athletes. What they do is unmatched anywhere else in sport. But your point is solid - for years I thought the talk about the 'sexualization of gymnasts' was nonsense, but it's real. That said, there are plenty of legit male fans of gymnastics, both the men and women.
This is McKayla Maroney in 2012 at the London Olympics. It's the best vault in history, IMO. A male gymnast did the same vault and you see the comparison here. She's far higher, landing is better etc. It's incredible that humans do this.

Congrats. Crazy they have that many on the team now. Teams used to carry like 10 girls.

OU had 3 or 4 falls on their vaults, which was the first event. They started 1.4 points behind after the first rotation. They needed a lot of help to recover from that against elite competition. Also, their coach made the officials tighten the beam before starting their routines. Just wasn’t in the cards for them. They choked. It happens.

okay. First, that is crazy subjective. I would say some of the swimming events are "unmatched anywhere else in sports." Also, the specific example you gave, is someone who used 4 pieces of technology to assist them (the runway, the springboard, the horse and padded landing). YES... Season ticket holder. Also Football Season ticket holder. I see several Basketball, Baseball, Softball, WBB games, even a Beach Volleyball. id you go to A Day? because Spring games are really cool...
