Ignore all th either BS you've been reading. South Carolina fans are being retarded in this regard. Bitching about the fact that we didn't honor the original time....if you want more people to show up and more proceeds...you don't have an 11:00am game numb nuts.

How can a portion of a fan base be this butt hurt over getting an away game switched to a home game?

Where did you see the butt hurt in the op? We're more than happy that this is now a home game. That's not the issue. The post was an attempt to clarify that South Carolina will be getting all of the proceeds from this game so they really shouldn't be bitching about it being pushed back from 11:00am to 2:30pm. Put your UF education to use and actually read before you post.

Seriously it's like two Carolina fans. You didn't need to make a whole thread to address two Carolina fans

I, for one, appreciate all the timely updates from the Tiger Rant posters. They've been like a life preserver in a tempestuous sea.

Here's to you, good sir.

I looked on here to see what's flooded, but didn't see where Columbia was really that bad off.

Is the problem that evacuees are in the hotel rooms, that the roads are all impassible, or that public services are already stretched to the max (or maybe all of the above)?

Emergency personnel has bigger things to worry about than a football game.

I know that 2 of the 3 (hotels and emergency personnel) definitely factored in back in 2005 when LSU moved the game to Tempe. I remember they didn't want to kick Katrina evacuees out of hotels for a football game.

At the end of the day, it's just a matter of the school saying the community needs all available resources and we can't justify adding a football game to the mix when the community is that stretched already.

Yeah, I remember after Katrina, UA asked folks coming in for the games who had hotel reservations to give them up if taking the room meant displacing an evacuee. The convention and visitor's bureau got involved and worked out the rooms and shite for everyone, but it was a major pain in the arse.
