You were supposed to wait for your cue:

Could an idiot who knows nothing about football and just hates Alabama please make a comment?

Now, go ahead.

Or 2 of those 3 games are against top 10 teams. Try to be a little objective

You'll have finished the year playing 3 top 10 teams in the regular season. Bama will have played 2 top 10 teams in regular season. You'll have played 2 other ranked teams (maybe). Bama will have played 2.

There is a ONE game difference in the schedules, yet LSU fans (not all, but some) whine constantly about schedules. In 2011 you guys had balls and would walk around here with a "bring it on. we'll play the best schedule of anyone and dominate all" attitude. Now you have a "why do we have to play one more tough team than Bama" attitude. What happened to you guys?

I guess bc Bama keeps getting rewarded for its easier schedule. Gets frustrating.

Not sure if its still true but the statistics show more teams actually lose after a bye week.

state could get six months to prep for Alabama and A&M and still have no chance

Actually the fact LSU plays Bama and A&M late could have also presented the issue of screwing them in the tie breaker had they all had 1 loss to each other. That is not possible now, but the schedule the way it is basically eliminated them if they all finished with one loss to each other due to the poll tie breaker.

Wasn't very likely since LSU had to play two of the favorites out of the East while A&M and Bama caught the SEC east teams who have struggled more lately.

Convert a 4th down. Make a FG. Stop a screen pass. LSU had plenty of chances to change the dynamic of the game last year. You have opportunities. Make the most of them.

The implication of all of these schedule threads is that Bama would lose to UGA or UF if they were there instead of Kentucky. We just don't know that to be true. One thing is for certain, Bama would not be the underdog against either of those teams. You're hanging your hopes on a complete unknown. Just win out and beat Bama and you're still golden. Handle your business and all is fine. Don't handle it an there will be more schedule threads. I bet we don't see them next year, though.

It doesn't nullify the whole tough schedule argument, but having an extra week to prepare for both teams makes your argument a little weaker.

You do realize that coaches put in requests for bye weeks right? Do you honestly think that Bama just happened to have the second week of the season off before A&M? This doesn't nullify or vilify anything.

Dude. Your schedule looks like this:
10/26 - Furman
11/2 - BYE
11/9 - Bama
11/16 - BYE
11/23 - A&M

You've got 2 legit games in 5 weeks. Try to be at least a little objective.

I like how you cherry picked the schedule starting on OCT 26th with Furman, you left out:

10/5- Miss State
10/12- #18 Florida
10/19- #24 Ole Miss

Here's Bama's schedule from now until the LSU game:

10/5 - Ga. State
10/12 - @ Kentucky
10/19 - Arkansas
10/26 - Tennessee
11/2 - BYE

You have no room to complain about anyone taking a BYE with that schedule.

Is this not the exact same argument all SEC fans/media/SEC programs make about elite teams from other conferences?

I wouldn't know. We got one a few months ago and I've never seen the place with fewer than 20 cars waiting in the drive-thru line. Apparently they agree with you.

And good job on the hijack attempt.

Yep.

I have no problem playing a hard schedule, I just wish certain other schools had to as well

That's true, but with your cake schedule you'll be able to run vanilla schemes from now until you play is plus I'd like to see Alabama in these tough, do or die situations more than just twice a year.

Plus on top of that if Bama/A&M/LSU all beat each other and win the rest of their divisional games guess who gets the reward of going to Atlanta? The team with the easy east opponents

That's the kind of treatment a team gets for winning multiple championships... Take note.
