Gotta watch out for the players looking ahead to Furman.
Even more surprising is all of them predicting a loss at UGA the week after playing auburn, but 4 of 6 predict a win over A&M the week after playing Bama. I understand home field, but....

Definitely one of his finer moments. Almost as good as his game management on the last drive against Ole Miss in 2009. Almost.

I will just say, I always enjoy Ole Miss trash talking. Carry on.

you're lucky he was friends with Nutt....or he wouldn't have told the refs to call back that TD that Mett scored on the bootleg.

at A&M getting less votes than Ole Miss.

Check the schedule again.

it's really sad to see a once proud program sink deeper and deeper into the abyss known as mediocrity. they'll bounce back at some point, I just don't think the sitting coaching staff is capable of taking them there.

We have a bye after Bama, and A&M plays here, while we play Georgia in Athens. Home field takes a big part in this, it's a safe bet.

I know, pretty stupid for my bretheren to complain.
I'm happy we've got teams like UGA and UF and TCU on our schedule. I like to watch big, tough football games, and I like to watch my team.
Combine them as often as possible if you ask me.

shite, with our schedule we could use a couple more byes.
How did we ever do what we did in 2005?

'05 was ridiculous on so many levels. It's easy to tell that someone is an ignorant troll if they bring up '05 as being a failure of a season.

Considering he only threw 12 TD's over the course of 13 games last year, I imagine Mett will relish every score he gets with them being so few and far between.

There are two thoughts I have on this immediately.
1. I would love playing our schedule and 2 to 3 BCS opponents from other schedules on top of that every year, as long as the games were in Tiger Stadium, and we were rewarding lifelong season ticket holders with marquee matchups.
and
2. In this day and age, in this sport, you get rewarded for being undefeated, not how many badass teams you beat.

If 2005 is a failure, then there's really no point in playing the game any longer.

A couple weeks ago I think it was, someone pointed to the outcome of the SECCG as evidence as to why we weren't a good team that year.
