All that work for nothing. It's funny though.

Fla has a better pass rush

I'm not sure you have 2 lb's better then Morrison and Davis

Also I'm not sure you have the better wr/te play either

Db I'm not gonna get into I think we have the best group in the country and its not even close we have 3 corners as good as white a safety in Neal as good as Adams

How many teams have the best DL in the nation? I've seen Florida, Alabama, and A&M so far.

People are rejoicing LSUs weakness on defense which is fine except that the defense isn't bad, just inconsistent. They can play up to UF or Bama's level, just not consistently. I guess you should hope for the lapses to happen again. Personally, I wouldn't bet on it.

How bad are Florida's linebackers? Because while our starters are good, we have zero depth.

Ans for all the people ragging on Les Miles as a head coach, other than Nick Sabin, who else in the SEC has had the level of success he has had? Multiple SEC teams have already gone through multiple coaches since he took over at LSU. Yeah we have had some laughable bad qbs in his time but the man guided Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee to a National Championship game. He's a great coach. I certainly want him over any othee SEC coach not named Nick.

Florida has a great team and this will be an amazing game. I think each team will be on point and play up.

I think LSU wins by a field goal, 24-21.

Aggy will have the benefit of saying it the longest because they don't play the best offensive backfield in the nation until the last weekend of the regular season.

If most of you LSU fans are right , LSU will kill UF Saturday. UF is better passing and LSU is better rushing. Defenses are pretty even .

It's funny how playing cup cakes seems to really boost some egos. Maybe you guys should look at what happen to the other teams in the SEC who killed USCe and got excited. They all lost and 2 of them got killed and shown that USCe defense makes QBs look good.

Depth

Interesting answer.
It's true, and one of the main reasons we didn't fight that hard to keep Chavis, and let Haley go too.

We missed on a class a couple of years ago, which is part of the reason why so sophomores are returning starters, and why we have some freshmen playing big roles.

Don't believe me? Go check out which players are expected to enter the draft early, and are projected to go high. We didn't have anyone last season of value (unless you count Danielle Hunter, who just "looks good"), and Beckwith at linebacker is the only one this season.

Last year, Andre Debose had 115 punt return yards and a touchdown... single-handedly keeping Florida in the game. LSU is presently dead last in CFB in punt coverage.

Why do Bama fans want to crown their former coach so badly? Six games as a HC. My God

I agree with Les>Mac as of now, but Mac has more than six games as a HC. Spent two years at CSU and dId a great job.

WR- Florida (because they have a better quarterback that is better at getting them the ball)

So because you have a QB that throws more, your WRs are better? Please try to explain how that works. As far as individual skill goes LSU is loaded with future nfl talent at the WR position.

DB- Florida (See DL, this is one of the best secondary's in the country and will make it extremely hard for Harris to throw the ball with any success)

You have the best corner in cfb, but not the best secondary. As a unit, LSU is better. Adams at safety, Ricky Jefferson has been a pleasant surprise, Tre White has been lock down all year, we get Mills back this week, and Kevin Toliver truly might be the 2nd best corner in college. He's that good.

Outside of Ole Miss, let's not pretend that Florida has faced stiff competition either. LSU has not faced a real top 25 team but Miss St is still getting votes in Coaches' poll. LSU fans are confident because we will have the best player on the field.

It is stupid to think LSU will roll Florida. Special teams will keep Florida in the game if they struggle (I don't think they will). They're offense will consistantly start in good field position and they will take advantage of that, but I don't see them on the field that much with LSU wanting to control the clock.

QB: UF

Based on what? Net yardage, TDs and completion percentage? I love how people aren't sold on Harris. He's doing exactly what LSU needs him to do. Throwing the ball away to avoid sacks and forced turnovers is perfectly fine. And he's doing a much better job of that then Grier. It doesn't hurt Grier that UF is #101 in the nation in rushing offense. It doesn't help Harris that LSU is #3 in the same category.

Grier is a very talented player. A number of our local guys really like him. Heck they teased Alan Risher that he would have a Grier fan club set up at the game. Without him, Florida is probably much worse this year.

As long as LSU has Peveto, we have a huge weakness on special teams. Its going to cost us a close game. Maybe this week.
