If this game were week 6-7, maybe LSU wins by a couple of touchdowns.

I think this game being early is a plus for LSU. Leach’s offense takes reps and timing. The later in the season State gets I think they improve on offense.

In 2018 LSU returned 10 starters and Miss State returned 17 a 9-4 team including 3 first rounders. We beat them 19-3.

Consider yourself lucky you met Moorhead and not Mullen in 2018. Coaching ineptitude was the only reason y’all won that year.

I would be more concerned if your vols can get to .500 if i were you. 4-6 most likely at best.

Consider yourself lucky your 2 best teams in the last 20 years played an 8-5 and 9-4 LSU team or you might not have a win since the fricking 90s.

National Champion coach facing a brand new conference coach at home has to be worth a few. LSU may have lost talent, but the talent gap between the two is still large.

LSU is going in longdick style.

LSU’s OL is going to dominate State’s front 7 and run our three headed monster of a RB corps all over y’all. When y’all bite on a PA Myles can chuck it to the #1 WR in the 2018 class, Marshall, the highest rated TE ever, Gilbert, or any other 4/5* elite talent.

LSU’s defense is extremely fast and deep despite losing a few players. Defense shouldn’t be a problem this year

Not where it matters:

Vet QB
Top RB in the SEC returning
Experienced WRs.

Experienced DL..
Experienced LBs

historically Leach takes a couple of years to get going.

Stupid statement. You can not compare a WSU prior to Leach to a MSU prior to Leach. Nowhere near the same.

Pretty sure Leach did not have five 4* wrs, Two 4* rbs(1 being the top SEC Rusher), a QB that was .5 from a 5th star....etc

I'm not sure why anyone is responding to your post as if you're serious.

Has nothing to do with his comment of it taking 2 years to get his system going.

He could not help that WSU was full of 2 star guys and had a massive lack of talent. He had to build that team.

MSU is not in that boat. You know that.

Only 16 1/2? Thought it would be higher. Might have to place a bet.

i'm not saying lsu will win but

quote:

Vet QB
not at state playing for leach on the road in the opener against a solid sec squad

quote:

Top RB in the SEC returning
ok pal. he would be 4th on the depth chart at lsu

quote:

Experienced WRs
going against dbu. an uber talented defensive backfield. as of now, elias ricks is not even a starter. that's insane

quote:

Experienced DL
going against an experienced oline

quote:

Experienced LBs
are going to have their hands full with lsu's skill players.

i totally agree. going up against a top half sec defense on the road in his first game.

quote:

Pretty sure Leach did not have five 4* wrs, Two 4* rbs(1 being the top SEC Rusher), a QB that was .5 from a 5th star.
that's nice but look who they're playing. look, leach is good but he's not jesus
