How does it compare to Alabama's so far in the season? I believe the opponent record at the moment sits at 75-44.

Idk.
We beat the Rose Bowl champion, the Orange Bowl champion, and the national champion.
And a 10-1 Arkansas team.

Beat the PAC 12 champion (Oregon #3 team) and the Big East Champ (WVU, top 20 team) to start the season.
Beat the #2 Crimson Tide as well.
If LSU had beat Alabama in the championship they would have probably had the hardest schedule in college football history.
Would have beaten 4 top 5 teams (alabama twice, Oregon, and Arkansas) and probably 4 other top 25 teams.
Just looked. Alabama, Oregon, and Arkansas all finished in top 5. Beat all of them.
Georgia and WVU finished in the top 20.

It will never come close to comparing, because LSU beat the National Champs that year, as well as the Rose Bowl champs, and the Orange Bowl champs. Crazy impressive.

If they lose the National Title game they can.

We shite on every team except Bama that year.

That team will never get the credit it deserves thanks to the stupid drama that obviously cost them the NC. One of the most dominant football teams of the BCS era, and certainly better than any of the CFP era thus far.

Looking at that picture. Holy shite we straight up dominated that season up to the national title game. Only two remotely close games and only one that wasn't a double digit win.

I think that was the year LSU beat all Big Six teams in the same season. Gotta give them props for that.

What in my post says to you trolling other than schedule and Bama

LSU 2011 strength of schedule was probably the strongest of all time having beat #2 Alabama and #4 Oregon to go along with the other 8 SEC wins.

Bama's schedule this year is more in line with Florida's in 2006, than LSU in 2011 - a ton of 8 to 12 win teams but not like all-time great

If not for that blunder in the Natty we go down more than likely as one of the best college football teams ever. Personally considering how good Bama was I still think that we should be in the discussion.
2011 LSU and Alabama more than likely are two of the best college football teams ever put on the field and not at the same time.

The national champions were 3 TDs better than us and we still beat them at their house.
