LSU fans...do you see any similarities in Bama's 2016 D and your 2011 squad?

Even though it was most likely a crappy team we played, I felt that the defense in that game had the feel of LSU's 2011 squad. I'm sure everyone remembers the dichotomy that year between LSU and Alabama's defense. One was a devastating run stopper that choked the life out of opposing teams over the course of the game. The other was a fast and aggressive defense that hit hard and carried a swagger about them that was apparent in their play.


I feel like the latter, at least based on what was seen yesterday, is probably the most accurate.

And no, I'm not comparing an all time great LSU defense to an Alabama squad that's played one game. Just wondering if maybe they're similar in style.


On a side note, I'm sure Arkansas and some Auburn fans enjoyed that win, due to getting blown out by some Carroll teams in the past
