To me it makes no sense not to get him experience this year if he is the surefire starter next year. As poorly as Jennings played at times, there's no reason not to get Harris more reps in preparation.

Well, except for the one big fat main reason - to give the team the best chance to win the football game.

I think some of you don't understand that coaching staffs don't have the luxury of just sacrificing wins this year in hopes of more wins next year. They are paid to win football games TODAY - not tomorrow.

What game did they win with Jennings that they no doubt would've lost with Harris?

I'll take this one and speak on behalf of Coach Miles. We had a want to get him in certain games. There were certain pieces of the game to make the call, to call his number, to get him in the game...err... when you make a call....the want was there. I can promise you Harris is certainly a quality player and will continue to improve. Next year..we...we play one game at a time...uh..certain players in pieces of the game make the other 10 guys better, so..uh next year. We're not in next year yet so..We have a bowl game to play and he'll certainly have his opportunity - not really I'm just telling you that to shut you up, but the want is there I can tell you that...certainly.

Who is confident? I wouldn't call maybe three posters "LSU Fans".

Just a glance at the Rant seemed to indicate that to me.

Now you've done it. What has been seen cannot be unseen. But I've got the number of a good ophthalmologist if you need one.

I'm trying to find a game where the play of Jennings is the reason they won and I'm not seeing one.

Didn't LSU almost come back to beat MSU with Harris at QB?

Anyone who is confident Harris is the starter next year isn't paying attention.

We wouldn't have won Wisconsin with Harris and probably not Florida

You're doing it wrong.

Look for a win where having a true freshman QB could have caused a loss.

last week against A&M, Wisconsin. Regardless, very rarely, in LSU games, has the quarterback ever been the reason LSU won.

So the moral is that Harris might not/probably won't be the starter next year. Well, my mistake.

given Miles' track record with the QB position, it would not shock me in the least if Jennings was the starter until he's exhausted his eligibility
