So we'd still be 8-2 (add UF win and A&M loss), Florida would now be 7-3 (add LSU and A&M loss) and ranked way behind LSU. A&M would be ranked #1 and undefeated.

Our defense is good enough to stop Manziel and our QB play has improved by leaps and bounds since we played them.
In the first 6 games (including games against UNT, Idaho, and Towson) Mett averaged 177 ypg. In our last two against Alabama and MSU (both with pretty solid secondaries) he has averaged 284.5 ypg.

it is actually a clever point. Saying "we beat them" to justify a higher ranking is a flawed argument.
You want to use "we beat them" for LSU beating A&M but don't want to use "we beat them" for A&M beating Alabama?
So there has to be more to the evaluation then that simple statement. Like who is playing better RIGHT NOW

Once again you do realize the only reason a&m won is because LSU slowed bama down? LSU would curb stomp a&m the team has one great player and Chavis knows how to contain him
