Take it serious Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday when it was possible to arrange alternative site. Not start worrying about it on Thursday.

Link? Proof?

Alleva addressed that this morning, said the 19th was never offered, and said that report was a lie.

He directly addressed it and called it a lie.

Do you have proof otherwise? If not, then shut up about this.

It's quite telling how in the tank Alabama and A&M fans are with Florida on this. Regardless of the changing narrative.

LSU fans - Hey guys there is a hurricane lets come up with a plan B

Florida fans - We know hurricanes and it will be sunny, we'll be fine

LSU fans - if you insist

Thursday

Florida fans - How do you not care about the safety of our players and devastation, why don't you give up your home game 11/19 and head back to the swamp?

Bingo!
U of F's lack of recognition and/or lack of preparation for a contingency plan should not be rewarded by LSU giving up a home game. Or perhaps an experienced AD in Foley played his cards and a inexperienced commissioner in Sankey, got the wool pulled over his eyes. Pick one, but neither should be rewarded by LSU giving up a home game.

After hearing and reading the below from Aleva, I'm confident one of the above is the case.

"They thought it was going to stay out on the coast. That's what they said," Alleva said. "They thought it was going to be OK. That was basically it. From our experience here, we knew that first responders and policemen would not be available because whenever there's a storm you're going to lose all those important people. All those things I don't think were properly taken into consideration."

Yea, LSU fans have zero experience with monster type hurricanes such as Matthew. At last count 238 died in Haiti, so I rather doubt no one did not take it serious.

You're a fricking idiot

We were upset because they purposely were stubborn about keeping it there with a hurricane coming and risked cancellation on purpose when they could have explored alternative action.

Since they wouldn't budge we are now upset they didn't follow through and at least take a wait and see approach to what comes of it. LSU offered to come Saturday and Sunday or even Monday depending upon what comes of it.

That's what's upsetting. Why, at this point, now take a minor delay and see??

We just didn't want the possibility of a cancelled game when we already had one a season ago.

You'd hate it too, especially if it was avoidable.

All of this was avoidedable but UF is the only school too pussy to try to get the game in
