This goes well beyond Chavis. Thats enoigh to demoralize a team and a fanbase all season. In just 60 minutes .

Tennessee fans tried to warn us before that. What a dark and disturbing cautionary tale

Well he did field the best defense in LSU history. Got to give him that much.

But my Lord he can blow a freaking lead.

Give me LSU talent and an xbox controller, I'll also put up ok numbers. Opposing teams would hate my nano-blitz player glitch.

Lol ppl keep blaming Chavis but the head coach was running no huddle hurry up with 7 minutes to go up 13. Yal can say 3rd and Chavis all you want too but he's done more than Sumlin ever will and has accomished more than 95% of all college DCs in history. Les Miles never even makes it to the 2011 season without Chief.

Watch the last 3 minutes of the 2012 and 2014 LSU vs Alabama games in Tiger Stadium.

Les maybe would have made it more difficult for ucla to win it, but sumlin was throwing the ball when he should have been running clock. Aggie defense got worn down for too much time on the field and it kept getting worse with no offense. More sumlin than chavis and I don't like either

Doesn't matter; he gave up 28 int inte fourth quarter aginast a team he been dominating. Honestly this is a higher level and third of Chavis

Frankly Chavis earned his money as far as I am concerned. He taught us we can't have a good defense under Sumlin no matter what we do.

Les would have never scored 44 points, 17 tops.

Against that shitty UCLA defense? LSU would have ran through them like Turkish coffee.

Sure he fielded the best defense in LSU history but that defense was also so loaded it had high draft picks on the bench. Something would have been wrong if it hadn't been our best defense ever

Yeah but this is somewhat like Bama Clemson last year. If Sarkesian would have run the ball with Damien Harris or Josh Jacobs in the second half and taken more time off the clock and spelled the defense more then they don't run 90 something plays and the defense isn't gassed at the end. Bama or LSU for that matter best defensive years always seem to be when they have great running offenses.

We have a lot to live for baw. If anything the recent tragedy in the state showed us what's really important.
