Some majorly uptight assholes in this thread.
1 - I'd love to know how many of these people bitching about it interrupting class / concentration ever went to a college class. They way they make it sound, college classrooms are dead silent chambers with nazi nuns prowling around waiting to beat the shite out of anyone who coughs.
The is the biggest event on that campus since God knows when. Sure there will be a minority of folks who don't care at all or are pissed off about it but the vast majority I'd bet were eating it up.
2 - To the "Well how would you feel if they did that in BR" idiots
Well first off, I'd be happy as shite to be back at class in LSU (definitely wouldn't be in class on a Friday on a game weekend like this though) and if I did happen to be in class, or GASP even taking a test, I'd laugh or maybe say "those assholes" (if they were Auburn fans) and then get the frick back to work.
College is supposed to prepare you for the real world. You think the real world is going to be nice and orderly and sit quietly outside your door until you are ready?? Hell no, the real world is going to pound a fifth of bourbon, eat some boudin, swagger through your classroom door and tigerbait your arse!
They're in COLLEGE, live your life a little bit FFS, the real world has plenty of mind-numbing work for you out there, enjoy drunken Fridays and football weekends while you can
