well its in Arkansas so technically it is already a trash can dont see the issue there, and you should welcome all of it because that is the most revenue your state gets a year, cant figure out why any one else would go there

Both or just State? Ole Miss has never played in Little Rock and I hope we never do.

Ha, not worrying about price.

Meaning, are there areas that are better to be in than others? Any you would recommend over others?

Auburn has hotels, they are just way the F out on 85 instead on near campus or the bar scene.

Both.

WMS was wanting to switch LSU and Bama, like that was going to happen.

I hear they are going to try to rotate until 2016 with the bottom tier SEC games Tenner/Vandy/kentucky/Mississippi schools.

BTW: Ole Miss has played in WMS several times...

Oh and...

the chance to play in the Mecca of college football.

We get that chance more often than any other team in all of CFB. It so happens that it's in BRC.

Closer to the stadium, the better. Traffic sucks.

That being said, most of your hotels will be around the 6th St.(MLK) and I-540 intersection and the Wedington - I-540 intersection.

If you can I'd get the Staybridge by the Crowne Apartments across from the baseball stadium. Shuttle to the stadium, and when you come back you have some of the best wings and texmex in Fayetteville right next to the hotel. I lived in the Crownes 2 years, Foghorns and Hacienda are fricking legit.

It is tradition, like only being able to afford one jersey for the season.

Doesnt seem like much of a tradition when you have to salvage home games in a nice stadium to play in a dump.

I'm hearing that we have decided to give LSU the chance to play in the Mecca of college football. That is right, LSU will be allowed to step on Frank Broyles' Field in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium next season.

Before you hit your knees and start thanking us, it is important that we lay down some simple ground rules for the small percentage of your fan base that will make the trip:

1. This is not WMS/DV, this stadium is nice, it is not nice only because you have not defaced or destroyed it, yet. The stadium should be in the same shape as you it was before you arrived once you leave after your short stay.

2. Tailgating is not a college frat party with a contest of who can get the drunkest. Remember you are in public in a nice city, leave your drunkard ways back in Red Stick or we can and will move you back to a suitable venue in Little Rock.

3. The world is not your trash can, pick up after yourself.

4. Be respectful, you are guests in the great city of Fayetteville, nobody owes you anything.

5. There are hills you will have to walk, if you require a hover-round because your diet consists of all foods fried, you may want to stay at your swamp shanty for this one.

6. Dixon street is not Bourbon Street, the hookers and blow are not hiding, they are not there, be advised.

7. There are several nice places to stay in the area, if you can not find one it was because you couldn't afford it.

On behalf of the rest of the Razorback fans, I would like to welcome you on your trial visit, but it is up to you if you are invited back in which case it will be another 20 years before we try to host you again away from WMS.

Jesus Christ, I don't have enough time in my life to refute this garbage.

Also, you can't even spell your famous Fayetteville street correctly:

Dixon street
. Way to go.

I don't know who that is. You don't think big money boosters in shreveport wouldnt like a home game there. Doesnt mean it's going to happen. Because it's dumb. Yall need to learn what bama learned a long time ago. Playing in dump stadiums just because its something you've always done isnt a good reason to continue to do it.

What a supremely hospitable welcome! Thank you from the bottom of my spleen.

1. I didn't realize that the 15,000+ LSU alumni and fans that visited War Memorial Stadium every 2 years destroyed it. I'm sure there is a long list of police reports on google about it.

2. I also didn't realize that all those fans were fraternity members at LSU. I also didn't realize that all those Razorback/Tiger Fan tailgates in "Red Stick" consisted of alcohol only. Since we are known for our hospitable tailgates of wonderful food and all.

3. WTF does this evem mean? We have 100,000 people on our campus for fall football games, but we don't have ANY trash cans?

4. Why would anyone in Fayetteville OWE LSU fans anything ????

5. Grilled tilapia with lump crabmeat, blackened redfish, trout almandine, gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish pasta, shrimp creole, cochon de lait, char-grilled oysters, seafood stuffed bell peppers, smoked brisket, ETC. .............is FRIED ??????????
If you're used to getting Gov't paid hoverounds - that's YOUR business.

6. Bourbon Street is not in Baton Rouge, and it is only ONE street in the French Quarter. And it is all hotels, restaurants, jazz clubs, antique shops, and actual homes.
If you do routeinly look for "blow" and "hookers", go to beautiful downtown West Memphis - what a lovely hamlet.

7. Since we are used to world class hotels and restaurants, we may drive or fly back right after the game.

8. Not sure I would want to ever come baclk to Fayetteville after a welcome like that.....(if serious ????????)
