He has a pretty good record against Bob Stoops.

LSU fans questions about Les's tenure and future
Really good question. I don't think it needs to be drastic for him to get fired. I think if he keeps 3-4 loss teams the disenfranchisement with the fan base will happen. I think a little of that is starting to happen. Not much but a little. For example, Les' biggest positive has always been his ability to bring in big talent. This year we have a top 5 class so far but the perception is that he is losing out on too much top flight LA talent. The biggest negative so far, for me, with Les is he takes way to long to fix an obvious problem. Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and Oline coach have all been problematic at times. Les can be loyal to a fault and waits too long to adjust sometimes. If he can make a couple adjustments on staff, I think LSU is sitting real pretty for the future. If he continues to be slow to adjust, I think the perception keeps falling.

Tonight marks the 6th (had 7th by mistake)national championship game that will have been played since LSU's last win in the big game.
How many more years does Les have before he needs to win it all again?
LSU will be a 9+ win team almost every year without something majoryly bad happening. It would have to just be a terrible bad luck type of season for LSU to not win 9 games with the talent that is easily signed each year.
Is 10 wins a year and a decent bowl game enough for LSU fans over the next 3-5 seasons? 7? 10?
Would a losing streak to Bama that reached 5+ in a row (3 currently) , even winning 10 a year be OK?
At what point does Les become the Mack Brown of LSU and need to go?
I'll take a stab at answering your question...
We are married to Les for better or worse, and although it has at times been fustrating the Hatter's resume is impressive (when you take emotions out).
Les has won 80% of his games, won 2 SEC Championships, and 1 National Championship in 9 seasons. Should we have won more? Sure, but we play in the toughest divison in the toughest conference in football.
Les is secure for now, the only way his seat gets hot is if we have a Tennessee like meltdown.

LSU will be fine. We are the winningest CFB program in the last 9 years, and have seven 10-win or better seasons in those 9 years - since Miles arrived in Jan. 2005.
We also have several top 5 recruiting classes in the Miles era, plus another one possible in a month from now.
LSU is one of about 9 or 10 teams since 2000 that have consistently competed for a Top 5 ranking and BCS bowl bid nearly every year.
The others are Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, Texas, Oregon, Boise St. and Bama.
And then a pubic hair molecule behind you have Florida State, Stanford, Auburn, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Michigan, Michigan State, Miami, A&M, Mizzou, South Carolina, Clemson, West Va., Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor, Nebraska, Arizona State, UCLA, Arkansas,
Va.Tech.

The year we pay him $7 million and he loses to a two TD dog in a bowl game is the year we get rid of him. No question.

I love Les but if Sexton tries to jack us up for that kind of money I'd bid a fond adieu.

Bama worried about LSU when Auburn is now the big dog in the state of Alabama?? Shouldn't Bama be worried about a QB & Nick leaving?
