BAMA could have a Marshall-esque plane crash and the bammers would rationalize about how the non-travel scout team is better. "Saban was fixin to bench all 22 starters! " Then it would be announced that the Green Bay packers have verbally committed to play for BAMA. Then, after the packers decommit, we would hear about how "Saban didn't want them, no ways! They visited tuscaloosa and saw all the scout team talent and knew they would never start! RTR!"

Now this is what we are after boys.

Lacy would just be another back in the rotation. bell was never even offered and would be behind: obj, Landry, Shepard, wright, Boone, Magee.

Why are Alabama fans continuously so fricking retarded? You're pissing off our redneck portion and then this board just becomes the equivalent of two mongoloids humping a door knob.

Now that is some revisionist history if I have ever seen it. He was committed to LSU up until NSD 2009. He switched to Alabama.

I'm not so sure Bell ever sees significant PT at LSU

once we locked up Randle no one was pissed Bell pulled the switch. Hell, we lost out on Bell and Benton because of Randle and I'd say that worked out 100% for us.

Sheppard was already enrolled for the spring semester at LSU. Didn't Randle commit prior to NSD 2009? Kenny Bell didn't switch until NSD.

To this point, Sentimore and Collins are the only 2 I was upset to lose. Obviously Sentimore didn't pan out, hopefully Collins will also be a bust.

Seriously? You hope a 18 year kid doesn't get to the NFL?

because he was yella. you saw the shite Collins got for choosing Alabama. Bell waited till the last second to cut down on the hassle the crazies would have given him.

Bama's #1 RB and Bama's # 1 WR both from LA.

Louisiana produces plenty of talent, never been a doubt about that. Can't put em all on the roster.

Would of liked to had Travis Minor at LSU...no room back then. Sometimes it comes down to position needs, who has room for the player and when the player can start.

Back in the 80s, talent escaped the state pretty easily. Everyone was in New Orleans in a big way. Dinardo started building the fence, Saban built it higher and Miles has kept it up.

Player escapes are now due more to scholarship availability, qualifications and team needs than a kid's desire to play somewhere other than LSU.

That problem was addressed quite some time ago.

Not for me. Like other people have said, the Landon Collins to Bama was by far the worst.

yep. Any success he may have will be attributed to bamas success. I hope he ______________. I know. I am an a-hole. The way he played lsu was despicable.

Collins and McKnight are the only misses from Louisiana where I was more than a little aggravated.
