Would you all be okay with being in this pod:

Texas
Aggy
OU
LSU

or would you rather be in this pod:

Mississippi State
Ole Miss
LSU
Alabama

(My 16 team conference is the current SEC minus Mizzou and adding W.Va, Texas and OU)

A pod of Texas, OU, Aggie and LSU would be by far the strongest pod in the SEC unless you also put Bama, UGA, UF, and Auburn in a pod together.

I was thinking the same thing. That pod itself would be worth 8 figures in tier 1 rights alone. I can't see any scenario where Bama, UGA, AU and Florida are in a pod together. Bama would be in the pod with Ole Miss, Arky and MSU if LSU is in the pod with Aggy, Texas and OU. Florida, Georgia, AU and USCe would be in a pod together.

How are you grouping teams? I figured same state schools would be in the same pod.

Horns will not be in SEC. Your top pod would be Ok, Ok St, Aggie, LSU.

To answer the question, I'd pick the 2nd pod.

Trying to make things evenish and somewhat geographical my 4 pods:

Ok, Ok St, Ark, Mizz
LSU, A&M, OM, State
Tenn, Vandy, Fla, Ga
Ala, Aub, SC, Ken

No thanks.

Let them wallow in their mess. We shouldn't be the ones to bail them out.

Saban would shite himself from the overwhelming joy he would be feeling.

LSU is in the easier pod I know. But I started with:

Ok, Ok St
OM, State,
Tenn, Vandy
Bama, Aub

Those in-state combos go together.

Then it got rough to stay sort of geographical and even

OU, OK St, A&M, Mizzou.
LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St, Arkansas.
Alabama, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Tennessee.
Georgia, Florida, Carolina, Kentucky.

This one will make it easy to trim the fat.

I oppose any future plans of any kind that do not expressly involved ridding ourselves of Mizzou.

West Virginia? Have you even been there? Getting rid of Missouri for those couch burners? Look I'm not the biggest fan of Missouri but even I know that the Mississippi Schools are Harvard and Yale compared to West Virginia.

And don't even get me started on Texas. Any plan that involves Texas is a bad plan. Ask Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, and Texas A&M. Oklahoma is starting to understand.

State is a sleeping giant with Mayden (Dak 2.0) on the way and infractions looming for Ole Miss. Don't know if LSU fans are ready for that.

If that could happen then yes I agree. State has the QB Whisperer. As long as Mullen is there they will always have the top 3 QB in the SEC. If they could just get some pieces around him then MSU might just very well be the biggest challenge to Saban.

It's better than Saban's former OC and DC. Or the 8th worst SEC Coach of All Time. Or finally a coach that lucked out getting Cam Newton and has only won miracle games since.
