Unfortunately somebody gets stuck with Florida.
Here's my question--knowing that neither Alabama nor Auburn will get Florida as the permanent rival, who do you suggest gets them instead?
One of the two Mississippi schools (would this constitute child abuse)?
Arkansas? (at least the game won't be in Little Rock)
A&M (let the SEC's two largest schools battle it out)?

I personally give zero shits who we play within the conference and the same goes for who Bama plays...
I think that may be the case for most LSU fans or at least all the real tiger fans I talk to daily...the scheduling issue has not been a topic of discussion ONCE! I only see it here...

I really wish the LSU fans would STFU... you're making us all look stupid. Play the games in front of you. Quit bitching about Alabama because you're just adding fuel to the fire. If LSU takes care of business, there is nothing to bitch about.

I love playing the gatahs, it don't bother me none. I like having that game as a crucial part of a championship run, year in and year out.
What if every team had their permanent rival and the other game they play depends on the record. 1 v 1, 2 v 2 and so on and so forth...if the permanent opponents happen to be #2 from the east and #2 from the west, then you can switch it up a bit. I'm just spitballing here..l

My post is in favor of playing hard teams and mentioned absolutely nothing about Alabama. I love playing both every year. The harder our schedule, the better for us. I like living and dying by our schedule and Florida allows that to happen. If we win out then at the end of the year, we will beat out any other team with the same record as us but weaker schedule.
