He was a helluva good football coach, and yall didn't appreciate him.

You tossed him to the curb even though he had the best winning % in program history, and now you're seeing the error of your ways ammaright ?

Please know that everyone liked Les, and he was great for the conference. He was a great competitor, and his teams always played physical.

I witnessed what is left of your program get whipped by Troy last night physically. This would have NEVER happened with Les at the helm.

Yeah, I'm guessing yall would do anything to have ol Les Miles back on the sideline. Maybe should have been thankful for what you had because Yaw Yaw is driving the bus into the abyss.

After Alleva is fired, rehiring Les becomes a possibility

No doubt. And after that fiasco yesterday, I would take him back in a heartbeat. Dumbest thing we have done in the past twenty years.

Les is a good coach, but it was time for a change.

Now, LSU Admin screwed the change up royally.

Nope, Les has more class than this.

He may have been stubborn and hard headed, said and did goofy shite but he was a head coach. He just missed on 2 or 3 qb's in a row. Nothing was wrong with his offense except his qb's could not complete a pass with any consistancy.

Neither do we. It is not like other schools were competing for his talents

Some of them might, but a lot won't. They screamed at the moon so much while he was there that it'd be too much of a blow to the pride to reverse course now. It's a sunk cost.

They'll go down with the ship.

I saw no one, absolutely no one, defending Les here last year. Everyone demanded his firing.

I am sure there are some that would like him back but to me he should have been let go after the 2015 season. Unfortunately, the LSU AD has less sense than Dumb and Dumber. It going to be a long 3 seasons due to an idiot giving huge buyouts to 2 guys who did not deserve the pay they garnered

Absolutely wrong.

Would rather fall flat on face trying to win it all than to stay the perennial chalk for Silver in the West..

Just was appalled to see another CEO/GM hire like Miles..this one a position coach with a miserable resume as HC...

They hired The Waterboy.

I enjoy it when a Bama fans spouts how good of a coach LM was for the program. Hell I thought Shula and Price was a good coach for Bama.

Except that it did to the very same Troy program wheb Les was down 31-3 to Troy in 2008 and it took a miracle and 37 unanswered points for LSU to win.

OP, not going to waste time reading this thread, but just wanted to let you know you are clueless.

I am glad Miles is gone and would not want him back under any circumstance.
