To be fair, LSU has way better talent than Auburn. Louisiana kids are legit. Its just a matter of coaching. Miles could be better, but LSU is the better program between them and Auburn straight up. Auburn doesn't have the same talent and won't ever be on par with LSU in that department. I wouldn't fret too much, they're a very hopeful bunch. At least some Alabama fans give credit to other teams at times. Aubs just homer and homer until their words start losing complete truth.

I have never seen a bunch so proud of finishing third in the division.

Don't worry about it. I don't expect you or any other Aub to own up to anything. Those are too high of expectations. I can even understand sometimes being biased toward the team you root for, but its once in a blue moon where I find a post thats just not dripping with: Auburn is something special and Malzahn will coach for 50 more years with a progressing offense every year. Im not personally sorting you into that category, but majority wise its ridiculous

Auburn had improved considerably between their 4th and 13th games. Let's not forget that the team that lost in Death Valley was not playing the same "ball" at the end of the season. Some teams go up; others go down. Georgia and Florida went down due to injuries. LSU declined as well.
