LSU has consistently been at or near the top of the Colley Rankings this year. They are currently ranked number 1: Colley Rankings. This is a computer poll that ranks teams purely on wins, losses, and who those wins and losses were against. The fact that LSU is #1 basically means that out of all the undefeated teams, they have played the hardest schedule so far. It's fine that you don't agree, but LSU's ranking is not just based on preseason polls.
