I saw Cecil Hurt, our Alabama beat writer, retweet someone named Scott Ferrell who was talking about it. Is he one of yours?

If there's any way to make LSU's QB play worse, this would do it.

F it... what's the worst that could happen.. might as well play Myles as much as possible.

It's more about getting Brennan up to speed in critical situations since the season is a wash

No, LSU is trying to get Brennan some meaningful reps to get him ready for next year. Now if the season goes south, then we may see more of Brennan.

LSU right now reminds me a lot of UGA last year.
We had a new head coach, a QB battle between a mediocre senior and a highly touted freshman, a thin offensive line, and a defense replacing its entire front seven.
We had an awful loss on the road to a Mississippi team early in the year.
Oh, and we hired an offensive coordinator from Pitt.

It's not really a true two qb system. They run things similarly. I think both will continue to play.

Nah, just the one DL and zero OL system.

We should just go to a no-qb system. Bring back the wildcat.
I think Brennan will start after we drop another game or if the offense continues to look anemic. we don't have anything to lose and it'd be nice to get him some experience going into next year.

Alabama fans: When did y'all start talking like freaking California "you guys?"

Not for sure OP....but I do think Myles will get a bunch of playing time this wknd and if things go south fast with Etling during SEC games, look for them to go to Myles. He can get rid of the ball SO much faster than Etling which is important when your OL is shite.

Pretty good comparison

O is slowly getting Brennan ready to take over. I expect him to be starting by November. Etling is a good guy but is so limited.

Oh yea. Both have extremely different skillsets, one is a true dual threat and the other is a strong armed pocket passer. Both are highly capable of guiding us through this sec schedule. I have no worries, as our offense is running on all cylinders and our receivers catch everything thrown their way. Excited for what the rest of this season brings.
