Guice was one of the best all around backs I've ever seen.
Maybe I'm in the minority but I thought he was more exciting to watch than Fournette.

Are you guys really moving to 3 man fronts? Did Mizzou run 3 man fronts? Mizzou has a lot of quality LBers for their front.
I expect Perkins to have a way bigger impact with Blake at DC.

I swear to you I was thinking of Guice when I typed Keiland Williams’ name

we definitely have WRs (Lacy should have a breakout year)
What have you seen that makes you feel confident about this? Lacy has shown only to be maddeningly inconsistent. Same with Hilton, who got pulled for loafing his last game. We have no certain WR #1 this year.

I have seen enough out of Jackson (RB) to know he is that dude.
Jackson's career stats are 165 yards on 31 carries. Way too premature to predict what his ceiling is. Josh Smith, a slightly above-average RB, is our most proven RB currently.
I do agree that the OL will be tops in the SEC and that will give any of LSU's backs opportunities to break some big runs.

Possibly smartest option in the short term, depending how the roster shakes out.

Lacy is not all that different from Malik. The only problem I’ve ever had with him is running before securing the catch — that is both coachable & has steadily improved.
He ended this past season performing at his career peak thus far.
You are not wrong about Jackson’s sample size, but this is the most important part of your post
Lot of big play potential between Jackson, Holly, and Durham. The only thing that can stop them is either not picking up blocks or run averse offensive philosophy.
The way they’re recruiting backs & OL… I don’t see it going that way.

I get I’m getting downvoted for this, but Lacy has butter fingers. He’s had butter fingers for 2 years.

There's a reason why Lacy is most compared to Brandon Lafell.

No one will disagree. He’s def been inconsistent

He’s slower and not nearly as athletic

Are we sure about this? I agree the hands were an issue early on, but I’d be pretty surprised if he wasn’t within a couple hundredths of Malik’s 40.

Doubtful and Nabers is also much quicker and more explosive. They’re just completely different types of receivers. Athletically, Nabers is in a different category than Lacy
Whoever mentioned pre 2009 Lafell, that’s a perfect comp for Lacy

Does not compute lol.
In all seriousness, I think you’re selling Kyren a bit short here. He’s a twitchy speed guy if he’s anything. Bookmark this, he’s gonna be our go to guy.
