Scoring defense is a better metric.

Ok - 22nd
LSU - 44th

Oklahoma also has a better secondary

except is isn't

because when you look at the rankings it includes special teams and defensive touchdowns. Defense isn't on the field when a pick 6 is thrown.

LSU gives up 342 yards per game

Oklahoma gives up 350 yards per game

Oklahoma allows 4 fewer points per game, yet you're telling me LSU is better based on the 8 fewer yards in a league with calmer offenses? Wow

Dude scoring defense is how many points your defense allows. Not how many points they score themselves. Wow

Wow

The number you see in the rankings is the total number of points given up by your TEAM divided by the # of games

It includes pick sixes given up by your team, and punt returns given up by your team. TDs not given up by defense.

Wow

Wow

Wow

you are dumb

So LSU's defense is better allowing 4 more points per game and the same yardage in a tamer offensive league?

I don't see how that displays an obsession? I like chatting with some aggies, no big deal. It's a bit different than only starting LSU threads or only posting in LSU threads on a board or only posting about being trolled by LSU in the OT thread on your own board. You have posted more about LSU on tRant than you have posted about Texas a&m on tArk, that is an inarguable fact. I don't care because many posters do that same thing, but you got me interested to ask.
I am obligated to note your blatant deflection though can't let that one slip by. But if your ashamed to answer the question I understand. I don't think I would either.

You said LSU allowed 342 and OU allowed 350. That's not the same.

Well it's the way of nature. The strong feeds on the weak. I was trying to mediate with you maybe hear you out but now you're just drowning everything out with your salty butthurt. If it makes you so salty being asked why your obsessed with LSU then why be obsessed with LSU?

Again. I must make note of your deflection.

You are still missing the point.

Probably because you aren't very bright.

PPG is a good metric, but it includes points given up by other aspects of the team, Like special teams and the offense. LSU's defense doesn't give up 24 points a game, LSU gives up 24 points a game.

As for a tamer offensive leauge, it might have more to do with the league knowing what defense is and caring about it.

Big 12 defenses suck.

For every Syracuse LSU played Oklahoma played an Akron and a Kansas.

Texas's offense is as bad as Auburns, and they beat Oklahoma.

Maybe they are slightly better, but besides that you are white knighting for a conference that as a whole sucks at defense.

I don't reply to you because you disrupt discussion. Anytime discussion is being held you fly in moaning about why, when, what I am posting. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings by not replying to you or something lately
