Better yet, don’t stop at the 1980s go back to the last year of world war 2 when a football become oblong instead of round and count from there. I’ll wait….

A&M is at this point equivalent to what ole miss is to us...sure every now and they they'll play well and beat us and steal some wins, but can't actual accomplish anything of merit. Will have to be content with occasional wins and watching their superbowls hoist trophies

Hey coming here and posting this makes you feel good more power to you. But think about this LSU is down for our standards and the best you can muster .500 against us. Until you quit worrying about other and just focus on A&M will never be what you want to be. For all that money and talent in the state of Texas you haven't won shite in generations. Texas A&M is the "Dollar General" of college football. You are worth billions but you are too disorganized and dysfunctional and have a over inflated view of your self worth to ever become a successful program. Until you look in the mirror and accept that you are 2nd tier in college football you will never have a chance to elevate yourself.

Granted. But that's where LSU's turbulent coaching situation on defense in recent years is killing them.
They're about to have their 5th DC since the 2019 championship season. I don't think any of Kelly's defensive coaches are good recruiters.
Then you have Cain leaving to the Broncos and his replacement having health problems.
All of this is absolutely killing them in recruiting that side of the ball.

And they aren't even all that "even".
LSU's best team in those 6 years beat a 8-5 A&M team 50-7.
A&M's best team in those 6 years beat a 5-5 LSU team 20-7.

Nothing yet. But it's expected that House will be gone any day now. I really hope the entire defensive staff with the exception of maybe Linsey is replaced this off-season.
