The womens' game is actually more fun to watch, imo. I played it about 40 years ago and pitching just totally dominated. I guess a woman's hand isn't large enough to grip a knuckleball, but a man's hand damn sure is! When a guy can hump it up there at 80mph with a rise or drop motion, then drop a change or knuckleball in on you, well..you'd just have to be there. A great pitcher, 3rd and 1st baseman, and shortstop can beat many teams by themselves.

You say that if OU was never a top 10 team all season who had one of the best hitters in softball history...a team who didnt lead the country in slugging, OBP, and runs per game or one of the best pitchers in the country who was the National FOY.

We definitely deserved to be there, but with just a couple of really proficient hitters, we couldn't take it all.

Sure, but downplaying OU and using them as some measuring stick to say we won't do well in OKC because we struggled with them is pretty dumb.

Where in my post did I downplay OU's team? I never said they were a bad team. Alabama made many mental errors during the Supers, many of them were self-inflicted.
I never said we didn't belong in OKC and I'm proud that we made it, but I knew that we would struggle and that it wouldn't be our year, as the Michigan and LSU losses proved.

It happens. Are teams going to make more mistakes when they play FAMU or when the pressure on against a quality opponent?
btw Alabama had 2 official errors, the same amount as Oklahoma.
