If he didn't live up to media and fan hype, that's not his fault.
I can't say that I watch individual LSU players as closely as I watch Alabama's, but I got the impression he was a solid player and never remember him costing LSU a game or doing anything stupid on the field or off of it.

LSU's coaching staff never says shite bad about it's players or former players, even when it's sometimes blatantly obvious to everyone else. I highly doubt the coaching staff is saying anything but positives about Sam.

Julio and Trent have been pretty good and Chance Warmack is can't miss. More than one would expect have been disappointments though.
