The follow up hit? The guy was going in for the tackle. Sheesh. That'd be like me saying Key is a thug for hitting White in the side of the head with his helmet. It's football.

I think the hit on Sean White was just as dirty, if not more. I don't care if it wasn't enforced. He lowered his helmet, and went helmet to helmet, clearly after the pass was thrown.

Auburn wrote the book on chop blocking, and malicious chop blocking at that.

That gets called nowadays if someone gets engaged low, and another lineman just brushes the DL. A good example if memory serves was the National Title game last year where our LG was engaged low and our RT put a hand on the guy looking downfield, and out came the flag.

Well didn't look entirely intentional, but while we're discussing such things.

Who was the shitface that blatantly/intentionally raked his faceguard over our QB's face. You remember, it was concurrent with the other a-hole that speared him with the crown of his helmet. You know the one thrown out.

Pot kettle black.

Quit trying to even up the most criminal chop block in history on Glenn Dorsey.

No, he is a mean SOB that every SEC team would love to have playing on their DL.

How about you tell that to the Auburn fan that started this thread?

It's pretty well known that the LSU coaching staff teaches this technique. Please phone the LSU Athletic Department on Monday morning and demand that the coaching staff be replaced immediately. No need to specify the chop blocking or that you are an Auburn fan. Thanks in advance.

You guys are the dirtiest team in football. Did you not have a player ejected last night for being a dirty POS.

And I suppose LSU fans are also too dumb to understand the point of the thread. Dumb and sensitive is no way to go through life.

No, he was ejected for unintentionally breaking a rule meant to protect both him and the ball carrier. Rules are rules and he should have been ejected, but it wasn't because he's a thug.

And the dirtiest team? Can you point to anyone on the roster that has done anything intentionally "dirty"? Yeah, I didn't think so. Guess what, I can point to LSU players that intentionally carried out a "dirty" play though.

And what would that have to do with anything? A player can intentionally hit a player after the play is over and not be ejected. It's the nature of the targeting rule, trying to curtail concussions/paralysis. It's harsh but doesn't necessarily reflect intent.

ETA: I would have to say, LSU fans here struggle with elementary logic for the most part. It's very disturbing to be honest.

During the offseason, our line went to the Chaz Ramsey blocking clinic.
