That's why you see all of these mid-majors making a splash i.e. your Wichita States, UNIs and VCUs

Blakeney, Simmons, Victor, maybe Newman... Hornsby, Quarterman, Gray, Patterson returning... LSU hoops will if anything be improved next year.

Nice try though.

Mickey is gone according to tiger rant. He hasn't been going to classes, showing up for team meetings, etc.

For the record, the source for that claim was unnamed, and no news outlet reported it. It was a guy on TD who claims to have heard it from someone on the team.

Jordan himself released a statement later in the day disputing the claim. He said he hasn't decided yet and will use the next month to make a decision.

RIP in piece LSU's chances at a Final 4 next year.

You realize we have signed the #1 high school recruit in the country, right? Hell, next year's team will be better.

We won't be better but just as good. If mickey does leave we will miss his shot blocking tremendously

Don't let other LSU fans catch you being reasonable.

The idea that LSU will be better if Mickey and Martin both turn pro is laughable. Auburn had one guard average 19 points a game and another guard average 15 points. However we still sucked because we had no inside game. LSU will be in the same situation without those two players

We would obviously be better with those two, but our two post players may be better next year.

Simmons is the consensus #1 player in the class and should be the top pick in the nba draft after next year. Craig Victor, the transfer was a high4 star/low5 star coming out of school but got stuck behind some All American PF's at Arizona. He's been practicing with the team and has been said to be a beast down low.

I believe Victor is also applying for an NCAA to play immediately due to his family member's health issues.

Better than if they don't turn pro? No. But Victor/Blakeney/Simmons > Mickey/Martin.

Obviously, all 5 would be ideal.

NCAA ended immediate eligibility hardship waivers.

From what I gather Victor is a better 4 than Mickey or Martin, who both struggled to hold position down low on defense, and neither of whom could establish position down low on offense. We also have Robertson and Epps with a year of experience. They didn't play much this year but were highly recruited.

I was talking more about defensively and rebounding. Isn't Mickey the 2nd leading shot blocker in LSU's history behind Shaquille?

What will your bigs look like next year without them?

I know Simmons coming in but he's more of a stretch 4 or 3 guard. Should be fine defensively down there but not sure about offensively on the block.

Victor will improve the 4.
