That was a war. Maybe the most physical game I've watched since then. All out war. Tuberville was great for the series imo

Auburn has yet to play a true top 25 team. Kansas State SHOULD have beaten them easily. Miss State beat LSU because Brandon Harris only played 4+ minutes... Had he started LSU would have won the game.

LSU has traditionally done great with spread attacks like Auburn. See Auburn, Texas A&M, Oregon etc.

LOL no. I object to KSU, but I object to LSU/MSU more. MSU dominated that game.

It's going to be the game of the season in the sense that after LSU beats down LSU without mercy the melt on the tiger rant will be glorious now that LSU fans have hope because of a true freshmen QB

You can count me as one of the people who thinks Auburn wins easily. As much as some of our fans bitch about the Louisiana Tech game, it wasn't that much different than their game against Oklahoma if you look at the stats. Auburn actually had more yards rushing against Louisiana Tech than Oklahoma did

From looking at some of LSU's stats, the only thing they have done well against decent teams this year is complete some deep passes. They had little or no success running the ball against Wisconsin or Moo State and their completion percentage hasn't been especially high either

They did while Jennings was in. Give Harris another drive in the game and LSU probably wins. Shoot, NMSU dominated LSU's offense while Jennings was in. Just my homeristic opinion

Well Jennings has a sub 50% completion rate. Problem is the qb that's starting has a 74%.

LSU can stop the pass but can't stop the run. Auburn can't throw the ball. I think Auburn barley wins

LSU would have beaten MSU by 10+ with Harris in all game.

@Auburn is tougher though, I for one can't wait!

Auburn likely wins because our defense is so porous. I normally hate moral victories, but this season that's what us LSU fans are going to have to accept.

LSU has probably the best freshman class in the country, and the goal this week (hell, this season) should be to get them seasoned for the future.

I'm hoping for a close game but I don't think LSU can hang with Auburn.

While I agree that a team that's played nearly 30 freshmen this season should not be able to hang with a top-five senior QB lead team on the road, I just get the feeling that LSU will continue to improve at a rapid rate this season. It doesn't help that LSU lost Dwayne Thomas for the season last week but there are a couple of outstanding young TF ready to take his spot. This will be the last season Auburn will be favored in this game for some time, IMHO.

I think you're forgetting that no one outside of Baton Rouge gives a shite about LSU's season after that Dan Mullen beat your arse in the "toughest stadium in college football", at night.

Agree about KSU and the dominating comment for MSU. However the fact remains that MSU played their best game in the Mullen era against a freshmen and sophomore lead team and still only secured victory on the final play of the game.

Laugh if you like, I think it's true. Oh, Bama might have the #1 rating, but that isn't the point; LSU was the #2 rated class coming in.

But as of now, LSU has members of that class starting at QB, RB (with another in the rotation), at 2 of the top 3 WR spots, at safety, at DT. These guys will be experienced veterans next season, while lots of other top freshmen will still be riding the bench elsewhere, waiting for their chance.

LSU's class will be special.
